| Job Duties: | Assist the General Manager in various projects. Reports directly to the General Manager. Helps in developing advertising, sales, and other projects as directed by the General Manager. Responsible for the following: o Shift Management – Opening and closing of the Café depending on shift schedules. Project daily labor needs. Create, review and revised café schedule based in the forecast projected sales per day, per week and per month. Assign task and monitor standards to all employees and ensure the highest quality standards of service, products and café cleanliness are maintained and observed at all times. Crew staffing and Training: Directly supervises all barista and kitchen cooks. Provide precise coffee training and development of all new team members. Directly communicate and demonstrate on-hand café training to the trainees. Provide retraining if needed. Evaluates trainee’s performance by giving written and actual examinations. Assign task to the trainees. Review and evaluate task progress. Submit performance feedback of all team members to the café owner/general manager. Inventory, Control and Ordering: Track current café inventory. Do ordering of products/raw materials based on inventory need. Project inventory needs for seasonal and or promotional adjustments. Implements all proper costing and decision making related to purchasing under the guidance of the general manager. Cost all new items/products to introduce. Do month end inventory. Cash Management: Do bank deposits, manage petty cash fund, cashier funds and revolving funds. Payroll and time computation: Monitors all time cards and prepares payroll/ time computation chart to be approved by the general manager. Assist the general manager in developing of recipes, menus and procedures. Program POS as directed by the general manager. Performs the proper calibration, adjustment, operation, trouble shooting and regular maintenance schedule of the espresso machine. Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. Perform all required office work as directed and reports directly to the general manager. Perform other duties directed by the general manager. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Candidate must have a previous Coffee Shop experience. Well experienced and knowledgeable about espresso machine regarding calibrations, adjustments, operation and trouble shooting. Well experienced and knowledgeable about espresso machine's maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly, every 6 months and yearly). Well experienced and knowledgeable about how to make, create and cost real specialty espresso beverages and expert in training staff on anything about espresso. Bachelor in Hotel and Restaurant Management education is required. Must have a previous experience with Micros POS system on how to set up, create system, performs trouble shootings and cash handling experience is a must. At least 5 years of continuous Café Management required. Must be flexible in work schedule which includes early morning, afternoon and late evening/weekends/holidays. Must have a positive attitude and be guest oriented. Must possess a passion for providing excellent customer service. Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess excellent computational ability. Must be able to exert well-paced mobility in limited space. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. |
