Job Title: BUTCHER
Job Duties: Cut, trim, or prepare consumer-sized portions of meat for sale. Wrap, weigh, label and price cut meats. Prepare and place meat cuts and products in display counter, so they will appear attractive and catch the shopper's eye. Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers. Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats, such as beef, pork, poultry, and fish, to prepare meat in cooking form. Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery, to ensure meat quality. Operate meat cutting and grinding machines and all other related equipments. Estimate requirements and order or requisition meat supplies to maintain inventories. Maintain excellent personal hygiene and cleanliness in working area. Maintain excellent personal hygiene and cleanliness in working area. Well verse in using electric cutter, electric grinders and electric wrapper. Know how to negotiate with suppliers to determine order details, conduct inventory, place an order and inspect store meat upon receipt. Must be available to work flexible time based on operational needs. Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery, required temperature and to ensure meat quality. Inspect food products.
