| Job Duties: | - Monitors, reviews and analyzes ongoing claims within Claims Department. - Oversees all claims investigation and interviews claimants, doctors, medical specialists, policy or fire officers, employers or other individuals to obtain additional information on respective claims. - Sets up Loss Reserves and provides reserve recommendations to ensure reserving activities are consistent with corporate policies. - Confers with Mangement and legal counsels on claims requiring litigation. - Supervise claim adjusters to ensure that adjusters have followed proper methods of claims handling. - Verify and analyze data used in settling claims to ensure that claims are valid and that settlements are made according to company practices and procedures. - Prepares reports to be submitted to Management. |

| Qualification Requirements: | - A Business of Science (BS) in Insurance and Risk Management or BS in Business Administration is required with a minimum of 3 years job experience in insurance adjusting, developing and maintenance of loss reserves and application of actuarial analysis is required. - Must have excellent communication (written and oral) skills. - Must be computer proficient and knowlegeable in claims softwares. - Must have working knowledge in a variety of subjects, including but not limited to law, medicine, marine, occupational hazard, property values, property construction, surety & fidelity and the cost and methodology of repairing and replacing all kinds of property. - |
