| Job Duties: | - Review and and analyze new insurance business and renewal submissions, gathers and asses relevant underwriting information, calculates possible risks and rates, accepts or rejects risks by indentification of exposures, risk inspections and analysis. - Provides insurance proposals, endorsements, policy renewals, coverage, or capacity and responds in a timely manner to inquiries from policyholders, brokers and their staff. - Develops and maintains beneficial working relationship with brokers and policyholders. - Oversees and assists other underwriters with underwriting procedures and operational issues. - Reviews and maintains company records to analyze amount of insurance in force per line. - Ensures that company underwriting procedures are adhered to by other underwriters, brokers and their staff. - Prepared product line reports and others as may be required by Management. - Assists Management in marketing and sales strategies. |

| Qualification Requirements: | - Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Insurance and Risk Management or related field of study is required. - A minimum of 2 years in personal, commercial and life insurance lines is required. - Must have strong analytical skills. - Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Must be computer proficient and knowlegeable in underwriting and risk management softwares. - Must have comprehension and familiarity of CNMI Insurance and related laws. - Ability to work with tight deadlines. - Ability to interpret and carry out instructions from Management. - Possess good health, pleasant demeanor and is dependable, trustworthy and dedicated. |
