| Job Duties: | Diagnose, adjust, and overhaul trucks or maintain and repair any type of diesel engines. Test drive units and test components and systems. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel, bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating conditions. Examine units to determine extent of damage or malfunction. Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts and other components. Do other duties as may be assigned. |
