| Job Title: | Laundry Attendant (Housekeeping) |
| Job Duties: | To follow the established standard operating procedure as set forth in the laundry department. Laundry attendant is responsible for the correct operation of all laundry equipment and high-quality cleanliness in all-linen processing functions. Pick up and deliver linens to assigned storage rooms at the guest wings. Sort soiled linens into appropriate bins of terry cloth, sheets, and pillow cases. Load up washing machines properly and start machines on a cycle. Wash, dry, and fold linen under the direction of the laundry supervisor as quickly and efficiently as possible. Half hour before ending your respective shift, shut off all equipment and process linens for 15 more minutes, allowing dryers to cool. Observe safe practices and wear protective equipment furnished while performing task as required.Clean dryers, washers, and folding machines properly and sweep/mop working area. Perform linen inventory as instructed. Performs other related duties as assigned. |
