| Job Duties: | Install, service or repair heating and airconditioning system on residences and commercial establishment. Install and repair industrial or commercial refrigerating system. Test pipe tubing joint connection for leaks, using pressure guage or soap-and-water solution. Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment. Adjust valve according to specification and charge system with proper type of refrigerant by pumping specified gas or fluid into the system. Repair or replace defective equipment, component, or wiring and reassemble repaired parts. Discuss heating or cooling system malfunction with users to isolate problems or to verify that repair connected malfunctions. Repair or service heating, ventilating and air conditioning system to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling with non toxic refrigerant. |
