Job Title: Tour Sales Representative
Job Duties: Sell tour packages and escort individuals or groups on sightseeing and shopping tours through places of interest such as local establishments and scenic spots. Meet and greet all arriving and walk-in customers. Attend to all customers’ queries in regards to optional tour and activities. Assist customers and coordinate with all related vendors and other tour operations personnel with reservation bookings. Provide any needed assistance on guest accommodations (hotel bookings, transportation arrangements and meal and/or land tour reservations). Answer incoming office, customer and office phone calls and relay important messages. Resolve any problems with itineraries, service, or accommodations. Provide directions and other pertinent information to customers. Monitor tour group activities to ensure everyone complies with the government’s, site’s or tour company’s safety regulations. In some cases, they may have to provide first aid or emergency services to visitors. Promote and sell identified optional tours/activities as the top priority and guide customer to purchase authorized and safe options. Catch the best selling time to maximize sales efficiency. Provide timely airport pick up and drop-off as well as other transportation needed by customers. Keep close communication with operations staff to ensure all the activities are done on schedule and remain flexible for any change due to flight delay or bad weather condition. Receive/collect payments and execute proper turnover to office/Accounting based on approved procedures. Offer, up-sell, and market by promoting company services and products. Prepare company invoices and official receipts for customers and vendors. Record all related sales and customer information and maintain orderly system of data filing into company operating system (electronic and paper files). Work closely with vendors to ensure that reservation details are handled well and properly recorded. Describe tour points of interest to group members, and respond to questions. Evaluate services received on the tour, and report findings to operations manager, and other internal and external partners, as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as needed/instructed.

Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year experience in travel or tour operation, sales or service related field. Must have valid Tour Guide Certification from MVA or must be able to complete the Tour Guide Certification course and acquire a Tour Guide Certification from MVA under the company, prior to employment. Able and willing to work shifts, evenings, holidays, and weekends. Able to drive tourists safely through various tour routes. Preferred Fluent in both written and oral communication in the English and Chinese languages.
