Job Title: Supervisor, Room Reservation
Job Duties: Make and confirm reservations. Monitor hotel room availability. Assign rooms booking on booked prior arrival days. Check emails from time to time, pull out the online bookings, and send reply on time. Interact with the management keeping them informed of special events that may require the facility to modify or augment its accommodations. Communicate regularly with housekeeping and front desk team to share guests concerns and propose resolution. Keep records and updates of room availability to all agents including online agents and our website; be able to handle, arrange the agents or guests needs and requests efficiently. Prepares weekly and monthly reports to be submitted to the department head, General Manager and to the Manager of Sales and Marketing. Also in charge in creating art and design of greeting cards in every occasion especially welcome cards for the selected Guests in the rooms. Must be knowledgeable in Opera system.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Preferably college degree and must have a few months to 1 year of experience in Sales and Marketing or Tourism. Must know how to handle the room situations in case of over sell or over bookings, need to be familiar to hotel and agent policy, cut off days, agent room blockage and cancellations policy. Know how to protect the hotel, agent contract and their privacy. Must have excellent communication skills, good quality of customer service, and multi tasking skills are a must. Team player is a must. Capable of decision making and can work under pressure. Must be able to work variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
