Job Title: General Maintenance
Job Duties: Repairs and maintains physical structure, mechanical and electrical equipment of the hotel. Replaces defective electrical switches, plumbing and other fixtures. Paints structures, and repairs woodwork with carpenter’s tools. Repairs plaster and lay brick. Builds sheds and other outbuildings. Performs maintenance on Hotel’s electrical, refrigeration, air conditioning systems as well as boilers, elevators and other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance work required preferably in a large-volume full service hotel. Ability to use maintenance equipment/tools/materials properly and adhere to safety procedures. Ability to perform minor plumbing and electrical work. Concentration, alertness and attention to detail required. Ability to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations. Ability to observe a problem, determine its cause, and work out a solution. Ability to function, work and communicate well in a team effectively. Regular attendance required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including graveyard shifts, weekends and holidays.
