| Job Duties: | Prepares seasons, and cooks soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other type of foods for consumption at various restaurants within the hotel. Reports to and works for Chef and Cook Supervisor. Reads a menu and estimates the total amount of food to prepare. Orders food items from outside suppliers or procures food items from storage. Assists other cooks during emergencies or rush periods. Cleans food preparation areas, facilities and equipment, and performs other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum a few months to 1year work experience in food preparation and cooking with good standards required, preferably in a large-volume full service hotel. Must have knowledge about international cuisine. The position requires examination and clearances for Food Handlers certificate before hire. Ability to use equipment/materials properly and adhere to safety procedures. Concentration, alertness and attention to detail required. Ability to read, write in English and perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to function, work and communicate well in a team effectively. Regular attendance required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. |
