| Job Duties: | Serves meals to customers in compliance with prescribed rules of etiquette for dining. Prepares and set tables for meals. Ensures cleanliness of linens, silverware and dishes. Greets customers and guides them to the tables. Presents menus, suggests recommendations to customers, and answers their questions regarding menu items. Writes customers’ orders on checks or memorizes them. Inputs customers’ orders in POS, and relays them to the kitchen. Observes customers to respond to any additional requests and to determine when customers have finished the meal. Clears table of dishes, silverware and glassware when customers have finished eating and drinking. Removes soiled linens and resets table after customers leave. By using POS, totals bills, accepts payment, and returns customers’ change, or refers customers to Cashier. Cleans floor and dining area (wipes and straightens tables and side tables, wipes window panes and sills, tables, chairs, displays and other furniture), and performs other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Some work experience in restaurant service with good standards required, preferably in a large-volume full service hotel. Knowledge of Food & Beverage POS systems preferred. Ability to use equipment/materials properly and adhere to safety procedures. Ability to speak, read and write in English and perform basic mathematical calculations. Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese and/or Korean is preferred. Ability to function, work and communicate well in a team effectively. The position requires examination and clearances for Food Handlers certificate before hire. Regular attendance required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. |
