Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Duties: Supervises, coordinates and performs general maintenance, mechanical and electrical activities according to codes, functional specifications and customer requirements. Determines schedules, sequences and assignments for work activities based on work priority, quantity of equipment and skills of personnel. Inspects and monitors work areas, examines tools and equipment, and provides employees safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules. Investigates accidents or injuries and prepares reports of findings. Coordinates with other departments to ensure the hotel activities, and performs other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: A college graduate or equivalent in engineering preferred. Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in maintenance/engineering work required preferably in a large-volume full service hotel. Ability to use maintenance equipment/tools/materials properly and adhere to safety procedures. Ability to read, analyze electrical diagram and handle/troubleshoot power generation and electrical problems. Proficiency in MS Office required. Concentration, alertness and attention to detail required. Ability to read, write in English and perform mathematical calculations. Ability to observe a problem, determine its cause, and work out a solution. Ability to function, work and communicate well in a team effectively. Regular attendance required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including graveyard shifts, weekends and holidays.
