Job Title: Front Desk Supervisor
Job Duties: Supervises and coordinates shift activities of the front desk. Prepares shift reports of operational records. Instructs clerks in operational procedures and property management systems of each work shift. Observes performances of clerks to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established procedures. Deals with inquiries, requests and complaints from hotel guests. Coordinates with travel agents, prepares reports of incidents and findings to resolve problems arising from hotel guests. Coordinates with other departments to ensure the hotel activities. Conducts monthly inventory and keeps its records, and performs other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Must be a college graduate or equivalent. Minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience in front desk in a large-volume full service hotel required. Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems required. Ability to speak, read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations. Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese and/or Korean is preferred. Ability to observe a problem, determine its cause and work out a solution. Ability to maintain courteous and friendly demeanor under stressful circumstances. Ability to function, work and communicate well in a team effectively. Concentration, alertness and attention to detail required. Regular attendance required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including graveyard shifts, weekends and holidays.
