| Job Duties: | Supervises, coordinates and performs activities involved in purchasing materials and products. Researches and negotiates with suppliers, analyzes market and reviews inventory, solicits proposals and compares price, quality, specification, availability and reliability of potential suppliers. Prepares and reviews requisitions, prepares purchase orders for materials. Checks quality, quantity and specifications of materials upon delivery. Coordinates with the accounting office to ensure accurate purchasing transactions. Observes and reviews the purchasing activities to ensure adherence to applicable regulations, hotel policies and established procedures. Coordinates with other departments to ensure the hotel activities, and performs other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must be a college graduate or equivalent. Minimum 1-2 years related supervisory experience in a large-volume full service hotel. Proficiency in purchase order processing system and in MS Office required. Concentration, alertness and attention to detail required. Ability to speak, read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations. Fluency in Japanese, Mandarin and/or Korean is preferred. Ability to function, work and communicate well in a team effectively. Regular attendance required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. |
