| Job Duties: | Load digital images onto computers directly from storage devices. Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs. Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Create prints by using digital image printer (included large format printer) according to customer specifications Examine developed prints for defects, such as broken lines, spots, or blurs and identify any necessary adjustments. Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards. Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures. Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and workpieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Stop machines to remove finished workpieces or to change tooling, setup, or workpiece placement, according to required machining sequences. Transfer commands from servers to computer numerical control (CNC) modules, using computer network links. Set up and operate computer-controlled machines or robots to perform one or more machine functions on media. Modify cutting programs to account for problems encountered during operation and save modified programs. Implement changes to machine programs and enter new specifications, using computers. |
