| Job Duties: | Implements the accounting functions of the company in planning, organizing, and controlling financial operations, to include financial planning, annual budgeting, accounts payable, payroll, customer accounting, inventory, accounts receivable, cash management, miscellaneous billing, and general ledger; ensuring timely financial reporting to the Accounting Manager and the President. Receives general guidance from the Accounting Manager and performs complex accounting duties with a high level of independence and professional discretion to fulfill the accounting needs of the company. Performs essential duties and responsibilities such as prepare and analyze financial statements and prepare financial reports to determine and maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities, within the organization in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Receive, record and reconcile bank cash, checks and vouchers. Handles company daily bank deposits, the petty cash fund and its replenishment. Perform the accounts receivable function; input and maintain information in the patient master file, review patient eligibility and proper authorization for services. Prepare employees’ payroll, Employers Withholding and Federal Tax Return and preparation, filing and remittances, review submitted time sheets for proper accounting distribution and accuracy. Prepare required monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filing for CNMI and federal government tax authorities. Review clients’ ledgers and process billing for services rendered. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, prepare periodic reports that compares budget costs to actual costs. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Maintains financial security by following internal controls. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents; and performs other related duties as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Minimum Qualification Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting. Work Experience: Two to Five years of progressive professional-level accounting experience Licensure/Certification/Professional Association: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred, but not required for hire. Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Computer literate with specialized knowledge in Microsoft software programs (Excel, Access, Outlook and Word) and accounting software (QuickBooks and Peachtree). Knowledgeable in preparation of tax returns, budget forecast, business and financial reports, billing and collections, payroll and budgeting duties. Able to adhere to and meet reporting deadlines and can work with minimum supervision. Has good communication skill and can compose correspondences. Make logical and sound decisions in the resolution of difficult and complex situations. |
