| Job Duties: | Responsible on mixing pesticides to trees, shrubs, lawns, or botanical crops. The work involves preparing chemicals for work application; inspect landscaping to determine treatment needs and cleaning equipment and supplies. Mix pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or fertilizers for application to trees, shrubs, lawns, or botanical crops. Fill sprayer tanks with water and chemicals, according to formulas. Lift, push, and swing nozzles, hoses, and tubes to direct spray over designated areas. Identify lawn or plant diseases to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Cover areas to specified depths with pesticides, applying knowledge of weather conditions, droplet sizes, elevation-to-distance ratios, and obstructions. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. |

| Qualification Requirements: | High School Diploma or Equivalent. Previous experience as a Chemical Applicator or similar role required. Preferably with previous work experience as Chemical Applicator. Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards. Must be reliable, and able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays; be able to lift over 50 lbs on a regular basis; able to work outdoors, exposed to nature’s elements, for extended periods of time. |
