Job Title: Pastry Baker
Job Duties: The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing pastry goods as well as assist with the daily operations of the pastry shop. Follows daily work assignments as outlined by Chef de Partie / Pastry Supervisor. Assembles breakfast items for daily buffets. Assists with amenities, displays / center pieces and other special request items as needed. Follows prescribes recipes to prepare desserts, breads, ice cream, sorbets, creams and simple syrups. Completes pastry supply inventory and summits a requisition to Chef de Partie or Pastry Supervisor. Maintains cleanliness of work station area. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements: Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of relevant work experience working in pastry for a hotel. Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
