Job Title: Beverage Supervisor
Job Duties: Responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant’s bar area to ensure that operations run smoothly, and ensures customer satisfaction.• Provides consistent delivery of superior customer service. Monitors department budget and targets, including sales, covers, stock levels and departmental profits. Assists with the control of departmental operating costs to be in line with forecasted business levels. Ensures effective stock rotation and maintain stock levels in accordance with hotel business and company policy. This to include storage and use of equipment. Follows procedures for food and beverage controls at all times. Assists with maintaining and improving departmental operating standards. Ensures charges are raised for services provided in event services department on your shift in accordance with hotel and company procedures. Positively provides sales opportunities in order to maximize sales revenue and exceed budgeted sales targets for the department. Assists with, and suggests new promotional opportunities to enable departmental sales to meet and exceed budget. This to include the planning, implementation and review of promotions. To keep all department team members sales focused. Ensures that the bar is adequately stocked and performs proper inventory procedures. Trains bartenders to ensure that quality, hotel standards are performed. To assist with leading and motivating the departmental team to promote good employee morale and ensure a high level of commitment and pride in the Hotel. To carry out planned training and development in a systematic and professional way in order to meet the needs of the business and assist in individual team members personal development. To continuously coach and counsel colleagues. To measure the success of food and beverage services training in meeting departmental objectives. Prepares and serves drinks and cocktails. May also prepare appetizers according to requirements. Performs other related duties as required.

Qualification Requirements: Minimum of five (5) years of bartender experience, with at least one (1) year of supervisory experience in a similar role. Must be at least 21 years old. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
