Job Duties: | Assists in coordinating all F&B operations within the specific outlet and works closely with Food & Beverage staff to ensure that customer satisfaction is met at all times. To constantly strive for guest satisfaction and ensure that all F&B services are carried out to achieve smooth operation. Ensures proper hygiene standards are maintained within the restaurant outlets. Maintains a high standard of guest contact and recognition personally and within the team. Liaise closely with the outlet manager to ensure feedback is given regarding quality of food and prompt service. Provides consistent communication with leadership regarding needed improvements in product, physical restaurant, and training. Interacts positively with guests promoting hotel facilities and ensures service standards are met. Coordinates special events in the restaurant. Maintains profitability of outlet to support overall hotel operation. Control payroll and equipment costs (minimizing loss and misuse). Evaluate cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation. Gives guidance towards improvement and make necessary adjustments for consistency. Trains, supervises, counsels and manages restaurant staff for the efficient operation of the outlet. Ensures that all service staff is in proper uniform and maintains proper grooming standards. Keeps accurate log of operations on a daily basis. Periodically checks other outlets, as needed, to ensure that service is flowing smoothly. Ensures correct use of electronic point of sale systems through accurate set up and ensures correct cashiering procedures. Monitors daily revenue and costs accurately recording figures in daily log books. Assists with the coordination of training for employees, and provides training to staff as needed. Assists with the completion of employee performance evaluations periodically for all outlet employees. Provides guidance on current performance and offers recommendations for areas of improvement. Assists with staff scheduling and event rosters to ensure that they are prepared in advance. Ensures all Banquet Event Orders are updated and maintained and that all relevant information is communicated. Attends meetings, briefings and training sessions as required. To have complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety. Performs related tasks as required. |

Qualification Requirements: | Minimum of five (5) years restaurant and/or hotel food and beverage experience required, plus have a minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a supervisory role in Food & Beverage. Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office and the use of Micros point-of-sale systems. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. |
