Job Title: Assistant Engineering Manager
Job Duties: Directs and coordinates activities involving electrical repairs and maintenance, electronics, plumbing, boiler operations, electrical power and lighting, communication systems and transportation equipment. Confers and coordinates with management personnel in formulating the department’s administrative and operational policies and procedures. Plans and directs execution of wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures, such as motors, generators, switches, circuit breakers, and fuse boxes, according to blue prints, schematic drawings, and sketches. Responsible in handling all administrative, operational and regulatory compliance matters involving Boiler, Plumbing and Electrical assembly and operations. Closely monitors or inspects wiring and fixtures to ensure consistency and compliance with the company specifications or local electrical codes, using test equipment, such as voltmeter and ohmmeter. Performs other related duties as required.

Qualification Requirements: Minimum of three (3) years of Engineering industry experience at a hotel plus two (2) years of supervisory experience. a Vocational degree or an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or combination and/or related experience in the Engineering field is required. Technical knowledge and proficiency on electrical, plumbing and boiler operations is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support a 24hrs business are also essential. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (word and excel). Must be able to work in a flexible schedule which includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
