| Job Duties: | Carries out preventive maintenance of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning equipment and systems; ensure equipment controls are operating efficiently and continuously; diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions; install, replace or repair equipment that has been damaged; make adjustment and do calibrations of thermostatic control; install new air-conditioning systems and equipment; inspect, maintain and repair refrigerators and ice machines; clean blowers, cooling towers, coils and check tension belts and motors; perform regular cleaning of the equipment; maintain job worksheets detailing nature of breakdown, parts used; time extended and type of work performed; carries out routine checks and logs, readings for the smooth operations of the units; perform related duties as required. |

| Qualification Requirements: | knowledge of methods and principles of air-conditioning, refrigeration and ice machine units repair and maintenance, including controls and safety practices and procedures and tools used; principles and knowledge of electrical, mechanical and electronic control and board; basic mathematical principles; be able to interpret and read building regulations and codes; must be able to schedule preventive maintenance services; able to work in adverse weather and may be required to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, kneel or stand for long stretches of time; read and interpret air conditioning plans and lay outs; understand follow written and oral instructions; must have a Certification/License in Air-Conditioning or equivalent; 3 years experience is required; must be able to drive |
