Job Title: Autobody Painter/Fender Repairer
Job Duties: Remove damaged components of vehicles using metal-cutting tools, air grinders and wrenches. Repair and refinish automotive vehicle bodies, straighten vehicle frames and install replacement parts using wrenches or welding equipment and other related tools. Grind down welds to smooth them using power grinders and other tools. Fill dents, prime and apply paint using paint spray guns. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical window and seat operating tools and trim to gain access to vehicle or equipment bodies and fenders.Repair and refinish automotive vehicle bodies and straighten vehicle frames. Review damage reports, prepare or review repair cost estimates, and plan work to be performed.Sand body areas to be painted and cover bumpers, windows, and trim with masking tape or paper to protect them from the paint. • Fit and weld replacement parts into place, using wrenches and welding equipment, and grind down welds to smooth them, using power grinders and other tools.Prime and paint repaired surfaces, using paint spray guns and motorized sanders.

Qualification Requirements: Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required. Requires training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree.High school diploma with 5-10 years work related experience and willing to work flexible hours and holidays.
