Job Title: Travel Industry Marketing Manager, PRC (Job code: YQ-01)
Job Duties: Responsible for directing and managing day-to-day DFS Saipan Travel Industry Marketing operations for the People’s Republic of China tourist market in Saipan. She will work closely with the travel industry representatives, hotels, the Marianas Visitors Authority and other stakeholders in order to increase visibility of the company and identify marketing opportunities in conjunction with third parties, products and services. Play an active role within the PRC Marketing Committee of the Marianas Visitors Authority and support and assist the committee to establish the ongoing Strategic Marketing Plan and the policies for its implementation, working with the Sales Division and Strategic Marketing President. Conduct and direct the continuous demographic and sociological analysis of the travel industry market conditions and economic data, and collect and analyze syndicated market research studies to assist senior executive management in the establishment of effective and efficient marketing programs for the target market. Monitor publicity and marketing strategies, policies, budget and procedures, and recommend pricing for products and promotional programs. Develop and prepare comprehensive market and economic reports to provide guidelines and achievable benchmarks for sales and marketing activities of the company. Develop appropriate action plans to provide for effective and efficient marketing training programs for marketing professionals as well as for Point of Sale (“POS”) staff members. Create and implement promotional campaigns, and train marketing staff. In addition, she will develop TIM promotional programs, brand and partner performance data research, and develop action reports for sales and market intelligence. Ensure that the company’s marketing operations for the PRC Travel Industry market are carried out efficiently according to the broad marketing strategy, and in accordance with DFS group’s established international marketing policies, guidelines and brand management programs.

Qualification Requirements: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related academic field and 2 years of experience in Travel and Marketing Management industries, in the job offered or closely related occupation. Special Requirements Must possess knowledge/expertise with the following: 1. Create and implement promotional campaigns. 2. Development of Travel Industry Marketing promotional programs, brands and partner performance data research and development of action repots for sales and market intelligence. 3. Working in a culturally diverse environment within the travel/hospitality industry. 4. Use of budgeting and financial software, including excel spreadsheet; Microsoft word and power point to present to senior management or clientele. 5. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources in a luxurious clientele environment. 6. Ability to calculate and forecasting revenue budget Knowledge/ expertise must be sufficient to perform the job duties involved in the occupation in the normally accepted manner. **Fluency (speaking, reading, writing) in Mandarin. **Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
