Job Title: Customer Care Representative I
Job Duties: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide customer support, product and service information, and resolve customer complaints and issues with a high level of professionalism. A Customer Care Representative delivers excellent customer service with a positive experience. • Ensures all customer inquiries are answered with a high degree of courtesy, respect and professionalism. • Assists walk-in and call-in customers with their medical and dental needs. • Reviews applications and health statements for enrollment. • Reviews and accepts COS Forms. • Prepares enrollment transmittal. • Issues StayWell members’ cards. • Issues HIPPA Certificates requested by our clients who have lost or cancelled coverage. • Issues verification letters to members upon request. • Issues approval letters to applicants. • Calls applicants who are approved with exclusion to verify if they’ll be accepting. • Assists member’s request for off-island pre-certification. • Assists incoming calls from our StayWell providers for eligibility verification. • Assists employees completing CNMI allotment form and prepares transmittal. • Reviews and accepts medical and dental receipts for processing towards deductible or for reimbursement. • Provides MSI12 and MS126 Contracts including updated members handbooks, updated plan and updated provider directory to StayWell members who are active CNMI Government Employees in the beginning of each year. • Provides Commercial Group Plan contracts to active members including rate sheets, updated members’ handbooks, updated plan and updated provider directory in the beginning of each year. • Files documents. • Monitors and maintains Postage meter and office supplies. • Performs related duties as required (Related duties as required are duties that may not be specifically listed in the class specification or position description, but that are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee’s class of work.)

Qualification Requirements: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: • A high school diploma or equivalent; • Minimum of one (1) year experience in Customer Service or office work; • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); and • Computer literate (Windows).
