| Job Duties: | Create, modify, and test the code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run. • Work from specifications drawn up by software developers or other individuals. • Develop systems by analyzing user needs and designing software solutions. • Develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information. Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), and Internet systems. • Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. • Monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption. • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary. • Administer network security and back up measures to protect data, software and hardware and perform disaster recovery operations. • Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. • Design/prepare programs to support accounting functions and reporting needs. Confer with network users to solve existing system problems. • Work closely with each department, especially Finance department to serve the computer/system needs of the company. |
