| Job Duties: | • Conduct legal research, particularly electronic research over Westlaw and case research over Lexis and Pacer systems. • Draft pleadings, motions, memorandums based upon the legal research. • Participate in trial planning and preparation. • Take and defend depositions. • Represent clients at trials, hearings, and mediations. • Accept the representation of indigent criminal defendants when appointed to do so by the CNMI Court. • Draft legal instruments such as deeds, leases, and contracts. • Advise on corporate and business law, including employment law matters. • Provide Mandarin to English translation and interpretation in legal matters. • Communicate with Chinese clients. |

| Qualification Requirements: | • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school with good GPA. • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in the field of real estate and commercial litigation. • Admitted to the CNMI Bar Association. • Journal experience is preferred. • Previous litigation experience with a law firm located in the mainland United States. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. • Strong interpersonal skills, good written and verbal communication/presentation skills. • Preferably be Fluent in Mandarin. |
