| Job Duties: | Work under the direct supervision of the Division Manager or his/her designee. Designs electric and distribution and oversees the completion of assigned tasks. Executes and coordinates portions of assigned projects and tasks; adhere to applicable specifications and standards. Manage assigned aspects of electric and distribution projects. Perform construction inspection. Support operations with technical assistance; collect, maintain, and organize operational data for engineering analysis. Maintain project files; prepare related correspondence. Prepare design calculations, engineering drawings, and sketches. Draft parts of a variety of engineering reports and correspondence. Assist with data collection, troubleshooting and equipment analysis; evaluate electric and distribution system needs and perform engineering analysis. Performs research for design and operational efficiency improvements; provides recommendations of options to improve system operations. Perform other duties of a similar nature or level. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and two (2) years of related experience. Knowledge of and ability to use AutoCAD and GIS is preferred but not required. Knowledge of: Engineering principles and practices; mathematical, pumping and hydraulics, and transmission and distribution concepts. Knowledge of and skill with GIS is preferred but not required. Skill in: Interpreting and applying applicable laws, codes, regulations and standards; organizing, collecting information and evaluating data; preparing and presenting technical information for reports and/or documentation;; estimating construction costs; conducting studies. Able to: read and understand construction drawings; able to read and interpret specifications; use computers and related software applications; communicate; interact with co-workers, supervisor, and contractors to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction. Must have a CNMI driver’s license or one from a U.S. jurisdiction. Applicants may be tested AND are subject to pre-employment drug testing. |
