| Job Duties: | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1.Train and supervise participants on the job, on a weekly basis unless otherwise instructed. 2.Ensure participant works performance meets employer’s standards. 3.Maintain professional relationship with employer and receive participant updates from the employer on a weekly basis. 4.Assist in the development of individualized training programs. 5.Maintain necessary records, evaluations and billing, and submit all paperwork for processing in a timely manner. 6.Maintain effective communication and act as a liaison between the consumer, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and all other involved parties. 7.Ensure a safe continuous working environment according to general safety practices. 8.Participate in required meetings and trainings. 9.Report any participant or employer programs that might arise to the Supervisor or Department Manager. 10.Use personal vehicle to get to participant work sites in the community. |

| Qualification Requirements: | QUALIFICATIONS: 1.A high school diploma a must, prefer an AA in Social Services, vocational guidance, or psychology (experience may be substituted for education) preferred. 2.One to two years’ direct-care experience with developmentally disabled population preferred. 3.Ability to work in different work environments (restaurant, maintenance, office). 4.Able to work flexible schedule including occasional weekends, early and late hours. 5.Ability to work independently. 6.Professional attitude. 7.Excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication skills. 8.Well organized. 9.Positive outlook, enthusiasm, self-motivated and high energy. 10.Ability to function as part of a team. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: 1.Ability to physically respond to physically frail persons – occasionally 2.Ability to lift 50 lbs. – occasionally 3.Able to work in a variety of work environments – frequently LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: 1.Valid CNMI Drivers License 2.CPR Certification/First Aid Training 3.Ability to obtain police & health clearance |
