| Job Duties: | Experienced & skilled in preparing Japanese cuisine including but not limited to sushi , sashimi, tempura. must know cutting & preparations techniques for each type of fish used in sushi rolls as well as how to prepare rice, sauces, & seasonal ingredients- must ensure that ingredients are fresh , colorful & always in stock that all important knives are sharp & clean & that all equipment is in working order. Cooking & preparing (Japanese foods) & others for the restaurant menu & manage foods, cook stuffs in quantity according to menu. Seasons food according to recipes or company needs. Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before service meal begins. Carve & trim meats such as beef, chicken, pork for hot or cold service. Dress fish or cut prior to cooking. Inspect & clean food preparation serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary, food handling practices & other related duties as Cook. |
