| Job Duties: | Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machine and automobiles continue to run smoothly. •Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and •Reassemble equipment. assemble, install, or repair wiring, machinery, or equipment. •Inspect drive, motors, and belts, check fluid / water levels, replace filters. •Fixing the exteriors of cars and trucks. This might include straightening, filling or replacing body panels, fenders and bumpers; replacing broken windows and windshields; and mixing, matching and applying paint. •Repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. •Coordinates with skilled tradesmen and/or assigned supervisor(s) for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently •Report machine problem to operation manager and wait for instructions. •Maintains assigned vehicle, tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability in safe operating condition. •Prepare list of parts for repair or replacement and submit to operation manager. •Cleans District buildings and grounds areas as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of providing an effective working/learning environment, preventing damage and/or limiting liability exposure. |
