For example, a person can become a waiter or waitress even if he/she has never worked before. A recognized apprenticeship program may be associated with these occupations. Experience as a laundry worker is preferred, preferably from a full service hotel or establishment such as hospital. Must be able to lift and carry 35 pounds. Must be able to stand on feet throughout work shift. Must be able to work flexible schedule including early morning hours, back-to-back, nights and holidays.
