| Job Duties: | Ensures health and safety of the children in all areas, at all times from dressing, feeding/meals, napping and toileting. Greets children and parents/guardians during arrival and departure and exchange communication regarding children's daily activities for smooth transition from school to home and vise versa. Interacts with the children on a daily basis during greetings and departure, meals and snacks, circle time or free play, napping, toileting, and outdoor activities. Implements age and developmentally appropriate practices. Encourages and supports children's development in the areas of physical,social-emotional, cognitive, building self-confidence, problem solving, and taking responsibility for their actions. Maintains regular observation,evaluation and assessment of children under his or her care. Completes documentation for reporting requirements. Maintains daily record or portfolio of the children. Accepts and maintains responsibility for the cleanliness and sanitation and organization and orderliness of the classroom, materials and supplies. Serve as role model for the children in the areas of attitude, speech and actions, graciousness, and courteousness, and respectfulness. Sanitizes toys and equipment. Performs other related duties as deemed necessary |

| Qualification Requirements: | Preferably has an associate degree, or two years college in education or other related field. Must have at least four years progressive teaching and caring for children ages Infant/Toddler or Preschool in learning/daycare center. Must be familiar with Creative Curriculum for Infant/Toddler or Preschool. Meets the state and local licensing requirements and can be included in the teacher-child ratio. Meets at least 30 hours training requirements from Child Care Licensing Office. Must have the following certifications: Infant/Toddler Certification, CPR for Infant/Child, Health and Safety for Children, Food Handler, Police Clearance and SORNA Clearance. Applicants must be of good moral character, good work ethics, reliable, stress tolerant, and can work flexible hours. |
