| Job Duties: | - Monitors, reviews and analyzes ongoing claims within Claims Department. - Oversees all claims investigation and interviews claimants, employers, doctors, medical specialists, police or fire personnel or other individuals to obtain additional information on respective claims. - Sets up Loss Reserves and provides reserve recommendations to ensure reserving activities are consistent with corporate policies. - Confers with management and legal counsels on claims requiring litigation. - Supervise claim adjusters to ensure that adjusters have followed proper methods of claims handling. - Verify and analyze data used in settling claims to ensure that claims are valid and that settlelments are made according to company practices and procedures. - Prepares reports for management. |

| Qualification Requirements: | - Applicant must be a college graduate with a degree in Business Administration and/or Risk Management and possess a minimum of 3 years job experience in insurance adjusting, develop and maintenance of loss reserves and application of actuarial analysis. - Applicant must have excellent communication skills (written and oral). - Applicant must have computer skills and is proficient in claims application software. - Applicant must have knowlege in a variety of subjects, including but not limited to law, medicine, marine, property values, property construction, surety & fidelity and the costs and methodology of repairing and replacing all kinds of property. |
