| Job Duties: | Sew, join, or finish parts of articles, such as garments, toys, and other souvenir items, using needles, threads or other materials. Trim excess thread or edges or parts using scissors. Select thread or yarn to be used according to the specification. Repair the tears or the defects in fabrics in a souvenir item. Join and reinforce parts of various articles, such as toys, garments, wigs, and select cord, yard, thread needles according to its specifications. Measures and align parts, trimmings, or fasteners follow edges and seams, as well as markings on the parts that have to be joined. Also take the task of tying, knitting, weaving ribbons, yarn, and decorate pieces and smoothens seams using flat bone or iron, for the desired souvenir item. |
