| Job Duties: | Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. Conducts trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct. Write, update and maintain computer programs and software packages to handle specific job such as tracking and inventory, storing or retrieving data or controlling other equipment. Prepared detailed workflow chart and diagrams hat describes the input, output and logical operations and convert them into series of instructions coded in language. Assign, coordinates and review work and activities of programming personnel. Consult and assist computer operator system analyst to define and resolve arising problems in running the computer. Trains subordinates in programming and program coding. Monitor the computer and network system performance and provide security measures. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software or other network or system problems or replace any defective components when necessary. |
