| Job Duties: | Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Replenish supplies. Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Dust and polish furniture and equipment. Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. Hang draperies and dust window blinds. In private households, dust and polish furniture; sweep, mop, and wax floors; vacuum; and clean ovens, refrigerators, and bathrooms. Wash dishes, polish silver, and change and make beds. Wash, fold, and iron clothes; wash windows. Take clothes and laundry to the cleaners, buys groceries, and performs other errands. May perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that cleanliness or the physical condition of buildings and surrounding area does not deteriorate. Other related duties assigned by the employer. |

Need anywhere from a few months to a year of housekeeping and maintenance work experience OR hospitality, housekeeping or maintenance training certificate. Applicant must be hardworking, able to multi task and work even under pressure. Must be able to maintain cooperative attitude under stressful circumstances. |
