| Job Duties: | Clean building floors, walls, windows, partitions by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, gather and empty trash, follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Must have knowledge of the methodology of buffing and waxing, carpet shampooing, not only the procedure but must know also what chemicals to use. Must have experience in preparing cleaning solutions, such as mixing water and detergents or acids in containers, according to specifications. Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment, strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. Must report supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Other related duties as assigned. |
