| Job Duties: | Satisfy local and international travelers with traditional Japanese Cuisine, Sushi, Sashimi and Teppanyaki. Research and recommends high quality culinary staff in the market. Develop and identify new products and equipment, to improve the production of the restaurant. Develop and define quality standards of food preparation and presentation of the food. Be constantly updated with the latest Japanese food trends around the world. Should work to create exciting visual presentations for the food by using oddly shaped dishes and plates to inspire new ways to serve sushi. Responsible in Japanese food presentation with neatness and cleanliness and with eye for artistic balance. Make and may serve sushi in a clean environment. Responsible of the sushi chef to keep their station clean and free of clutter. Responsible and making sure cutting board should be wiped clean after piece of fish is cut or roll is made. Hands need to be washed regularly, especially after touching money or doorknob. Wearing headband or hair net is a must, to reduce incidence of fallen hair and sweat into the food. Oversee the operation in the Japanese outlet, such as handling the staff, preparing Japanese menus and price list. Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations. Check the quality of raw or cooked food products to ensure that standards are met. Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients. Instruct cooks or other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, or presentation of food. Supervise or coordinate activities of cooks or workers engaged in food preparation. Inspect supplies, equipment, or work areas to ensure conformance to established standards. Order or requisition food or other supplies needed to ensure efficient operation. Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services. Check the quantity and quality of received products. Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays. Perform other task as determined and assigned by the Executive Chef. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Bachelor Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent.At least one or two years working experience in the related field. In depth knowledge in preparing various kind of Japanese Cuisine. Knowledgeable in food handling, cooking techniques and leadership expertise. In depth knowledge in preparing various kind of Sushi, Japanese Cuisine, Sashimi and Teppanyaki. Knowledgeable in food handling, cooking techniques and leadership expertise. Develop and design extra ordinary signature Japanese menu, and etc. Willing to work under pressure, be able to stand for prolonged period of time. Possess good customer service skills. Computer literate, and possess email communication skills. Knowledge in all safety and hazardous standard. Has the ability to be extent flexibility in lifting at least 50lbs. highly qualified in supervising subordinates and possess leadership. Willing to work in flexible shifts, days, evening, weekends and holidays. Should have a good personal hygiene, creativeness and have a sense of smell and taste. Food Handler Certified. |
