| Job Duties: | SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Project Leadman, performs routine and extensive preventive maintenance and repair. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs painting, abrasive grinding, sanding, grit blasting and priming on any assigned vessel or infrastructure. Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures and pipe and electrical systems following blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings using hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane, and measuring and testing instruments. Perform installations, assembling, fittings, repairs, and replacements as needed. Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment. Performs fire watch duties and assist welders with equipment set up and work area preparation. Cleans and maintains tools and equipment used at work. Perform cleaning duties and upkeep of facilities and properties as needed. Completes all necessary documentation in a neat and timely manner. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures. Follow defined Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures Perform other duties as required.
