Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager
Job Duties: Assistant Restaurant Managers run the staff when the manager is not on duty. They direct other employees through their daily routines and interact with customers to make sure that they have a satisfactory experience. Assistant managers act as quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction through training employees properly and adhering to company policy. make sure employees perform a variety of tasks, from preparing the food, stocking supplies, serving, charging people for their food, handling cash, credit cards, and a cash register, cleaning tables and counters, resetting tables, greeting customers and answering questions. Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving and building maintenance in lodging and dining facilities. Monitor food preparation methods portion sizes and garnishing and pre presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner. Count money and make bank deposits. Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food, quality, service, or accommodations. Coordinate assignments of cooking personnel to ensure economic use of food and timely preparation. Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity. Negotiation and arrangement od Party resenrvation. Create and cooperate promotion menu. Monitor and set up training plan of new staff. Have a responsibility of Daily & Weekly Report. Have interviews and hire new staff. Performs other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma Required? Undetermined
Qualification Requirements: Associate Degree preferred, Bachelor Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management is an advantage. Must have a minimum of 2 years work experience in a Restaurant setting not on a fast food outlet. Sufficient knowledge on computer to fulfill management functions is a must. Must possess ability in planning, training, directing, controlling and coordinating the activities of all departments to ensure a well organized daily operation. Can handle multi-task work load. Must have valid divers license. Must be able to handle split shift schedule. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must have Food Handlers Certificate. Must be able to work in the U.S.
