| Job Title: | Radiologic Technician/ Mammographer |
| Job Duties: | Operate radiographic imaging equipment and accessory devices to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Perform daily radiologic procedures (i.e. general, surgical, portable, fluoroscopic and special). Perform mammography procedures such as screening and diagnostic mammography and other interventional procedures relating to the breast. Apply knowledge of radiation physic and radiation safety to limit exposure to ionizing radiation. Prepare patient, equipment, and rooms as necessary in order to perform procedures. Position patients for imaging procedures, select appropriate exposure techniques/factors and evaluate quality of radiographs. Ensure procedures have accurate documentation including clinical labeling and patient information. Assist with contacting and following up with patients, tracking critical information and ensuring that the reporting Radiologist has all the necessary information. Interact and communicate with physicians and staff members in a professional manner and with patients in a caring way. Develop and implement mammography quality assurance and quality control programs as needed to meet FDA/ACR/MQSA requirements. Maintain Mammography Quality Control records according to accreditation requirement. Prepare processor chemistry and perform necessary maintenance. Evaluate, maintain, order, and stock inventory and supplies as needed. Perform any necessary reports, clerical duties, scheduling, filing, database, research, administration, etc., as needed and/or assigned. Perform other related duties incidental to the work therein, shift, on-call as assigned. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Bachelor’s degree or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program. Three to four years experience preferably in hospital setting with multi-modality experience in two of the following: radiology, ultrasound or computed tomography and two years experience in mammography with a strong background in quality assurance and quality control. CNMI license required; certified and trained in radiology, ultrasound, mammography and computed tomography. Ability to work with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. |
