Job Title: Vice President - Security & Investigation
Job Duties: • Oversee and coordinate security and investigation efforts across the company, including information technology, human resources, communications, legal, facilities management and other groups • Directs and oversee security and access control function of hotel/casino operation • Lead investigations of potential violations of company policy involving allegations of theft, fraud, embezzlement, ethics and business practices • Lead evidence, statements, and case gathering to assist in the prosecution of offenders • Develop procedures to ensure physical safety of employees and visitors • Develop risk management assessments, emergency procedures and incident responses • Expand opportunities for pro-active investigations into potential non-compliance and in the design and execution of investigations • Regularly report status of investigations and potential of security and compliance risks to the top management • Collaborate with Internal Audit and IT on processes used to identify fraud risk, such as data mining, account verification letters, and expense report review • Perform proactive checks and security reviews to minimize risk of theft and other losses. Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers as needed • Work closely with United States Law Enforcement, local civilian police, military, and Intelligence agencies • Assist to identify and report risks associated with VVIP’s, events, or functions that may pose risk of attack or protest, through intelligence gathering and vetting external electronic sources • Analyze relevant incidents and illegal/undesirable statistics and trends to implement mitigation strategies, and or plan and implement initiatives to apprehend offenders • Propose, implement, and maintain a process for Surveillance and other key depts. • Propose, implement, promote and maintain a companywide system for anonymous reporting of suspicious or illegal/undesirable activity for front line staff (Whistle Blower) • Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of security and investigation projects, ensuring that the guidance is followed consistently for each project undertaken and the projects are completed in a timely manner • Performed other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements: • 25 years or above experience in security/investigation industry • At least 10 years of experience for managerial positions in operating security/investigation department in a large scale casino hotel/resort • Senior police background or demonstrated relevant experience • College Diploma in Legal or investigations related fields • Equivalent professional training is preferred • Pre-opening experience in casino hotel/resort • Excellent team building and team management skills • A high level of integrity, teamwork, and cultural awareness, strong work ethic, and tolerance for others are mandatory for this position. • Strategic thinking and analytical skills • Demonstrated capability of supporting business plans and the achievement of the security/investigation department • Flexible to change with the ability to adapt whilst handling substantial workloads • Self-motivated and displays a high commitment to delivering results • Leads others to achieve business objectives • Achieves agreed objectives and accepts accountability for result • Displays the highest level of integrity and have the ability to maintain discretion • Extremely flexible and adaptable • Excellent interpersonal / presentation skills • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail; • Ability to exercise sound judgement, maintain discretion and use initiative; • Ability to direct analytical resource in order to draw together key themes and deliver clear, accurate, reasoned and concise conclusions and recommendations from significant volumes of information • Analytical and reasoning skills to conduct special investigations (e.g. those involving significant public/police interest issues) • Strong knowledge and commitment to working within multi-cultural environments including zero tolerance of personal discrimination of any kind • Proficiency in office software: Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and other related soft ware • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines • Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the Company • Able to work on flexible shifts including overnight, weekends and holidays on rotation basis • Fluent in English • Ability to speak Cantonese or Mandarin is an advantage • Ability to multi-task
