| Job Duties: | Do on the spot assessment of the patient’s condition and determine a proper course of treatment; Use backboards and restraints to immobilize patients and secure them in the ambulance; Help transfer patients to hospitals and other healthcare facilities and report their observations and first aid treatment before relinquishing the care to the doctors or nurses-in-charge; Create a patient care report using EMS charts documenting the medical care given to the patient at the scene and enroute to the hospital. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must be high school graduate; With at least 2-years of relevant work experience; Must have passed the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT); Must have completed and passed the training of required number of hours from the state-approved program; Must have acquired Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (BLS-CPR/AED); Must be a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (as approved by Health Care Professions Licensing Board (HCPLB) of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands; Must have a clean criminal background; Must know how to drive and must possess a valid CNMI Driver’s License at all times; Must be willing to work flexible hours, including, nights/weekends/holidays; Must be computer-literate (Microsoft Word/Excel) and with knowledge on how to use/operate Quickbook software). Experience in medical billing and coding is a plus. |
