| Job Duties: | Can operate different kinds of Heavy Equipment such as Gradall Telescopic Forklift, Genie Boomlift, Upright Scissor Lift, Upright Boom Lift, Sky Truck, Grove Rough Scissor Lift. May repair and maintain equipment in addition to other duties. Learn and follow safety regulations. Must know all the parts and tools use for Heavy Equipment. Can work minimum supervision.Operates and inspects light and heavy equipment to diagnose defects, dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools. Knowledge of heavy/light equipment machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. Must be able to troubleshoot any mechanical problem at any time. Fabricates, modifies, and installs special equipment or replacement parts using mills, lathes, welders, torch sets, plasma cutter and metal cutting saws. Prepare and review repair cost estimates and plan work to be performed. Repair worn out and damaged or defective mechanical parts and others. Do other duties as may be assigned. Diagnose, adjust and overhaul trucks or maintain and repair any type of diesel engines, test drive units and test components |
