| Job Duties: | Maintain furniture and other elements of carpentry repair works in guest room, meeting rooms and all public areas. Observes standard practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and safety related to carpentry and maintains work. Ability to effectively communicate, both in person and over the phone when dealing with management, employees, and guests. Stain-grade, trim work, hang doors, drill and set door hardware, set windows, layout for stairs and common rafters etc. Read blueprints, mathematical and analytical skills are necessary to do material estimates. Maintains general mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to work with carpentry tools and materials. Should be able to lift and manipulate objects of up to 80 lbs. as and when required. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Working knowledge of the carpentry trade as well as repair and maintenance of the Hospitality property is an added advantage. Technical education in the art of carpentry or completed high school with equivalent experience in carpentry. Previous experience working in hotel / resort / hospitality settings. Minimum 1 to 2 years experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment. |
