| Job Duties: | Operates and inspects light and heavy equipment to diagnose defects, dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools. Knowledge of heavy/light equipment machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. Must be able to troubleshoot any mechanical problem at any time. Fabricates, modifies, and installs special equipment or replacement parts using mills, lathes, welders, torch sets, plasma cutter and metal cutting saws. Prepare and review repair cost estimates and plan work to be performed. Repair worn out and damaged or defective mechanical parts and others. Do other duties as may be assigned |
