| Job Title: | BOAT REPAIRER |
| Job Duties: | Repair wooden and fiberglass boats accordfing to blue prints and customer specifications, using hand tools and power tools. Confers with customer or supervisory personnel and read blue prints to determine repairs needed and plan sequence of operations.Examines boat to determine location and extent of defect. Cut out defective areas using power saw, drills and hand tools. Measures and records dimensions of defective area and lays out dimension lines and reference points on materials, using rules, straight hedge, squares, and scribing instruments. Set up and operate saws, joiners, planers and shapers to fabricate parts. Position and fits repair parts in boat and secures part to boat using caulking gun, adhesives or carpenter's hand tools. Cut fiberglass material to specified size and patches defective surfaces (BOAT PATCHER, PLASTIC (ship-boat mfg.) Smooths repaired surfaces using power sander, install fittings and equipment according to customer specifications using hand tools and portable power tools. Hand brushes or spray paint or other finishing solution on repaired areas and waxes and buffs area to specified finish. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Must have 5 years experience in boat repairing and building. must be good in technical activities to be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces, a reasonable level of fitness manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, an organized and methodical approaach and have the ability to multi task. |
