| Job Duties: | Monitor Building security and safety by performing such task as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliances use to ensure that hazard are not created. Service clean, or supply restrooms. Gather and empty trash. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees. Clean houses, business establishments and hotels. Carries linens, towels, supplies cleaning equipment in either a push cart or utensils rack. Cleans rooms, bathrooms, hallways, lounges, kitchens, porches and other ares so required safety and health standards are met. Empties waste cans and ashtrays and carry to disposal area. Disinfects supplies and equipment with germicides according to acceptable standards. Do laundry of linens and clothes. Observes precautions required to protect house owners, hotel, and guest properties and report damages, theft, and found articles to house owners, supervisors of office manager. Performs other related duties as required. |

| Qualification Requirements: | Minimum High School Diploma plus a few months to 1 year recent experience doing Cleaning and custodial work or general maintenance work in commercial establishments. Must be able to perform minor to general building maintenance. Must be able to work flexible hours, 5:00 to 7:00 am, 1:30 to 3:30 pm, and 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Must be of excellent physical health to lift and use heavy cleaning equipment and furniture and fixtures. Applicant must be of good moral character, good work ethics, reliable, and stress tolerant. |
